Please stop the plans for the Triumphal Arch. At 250 feet, it is taller than France’s Arc de Triomphe, and the new arch will remind many Americans of Napoleon, not America. It’s a poor use of funds, and it’s aesthetically mismatched to other structures at the National Mall. Many veterans dislike that it hurts the view between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. Overall, feedback on this project is negative. Please honor the opinions of the people you represent.
