Shock and Awe was a disaster for Iraq and the American tax payer. Congress should have used the Power of the Purse to stop that war before it started. We cannot afford a repeat of wasteful warfare in the Middle East. Passing the Iran War Powers resolution is a good first step. Defunding Shock and Awe #2 needs to happen as well.
