Stop sending weapons to Israel. The Defense Intelligence Agency has raised Israel's counterintelligence threat designation to "critical" — the highest level possible — because Israel is actively surveilling top U.S. officials to gather intelligence on the Trump administration's internal deliberations. We are arming a government that is spying on us.
This isn't speculation. The DIA issued a formal internal assessment, including a seven-page document cataloging specific incidents of Israeli human espionage and technical collection against U.S. targets. U.S. officials already travel to Israel with burner phones and treat hotel rooms as compromised. That is not how you treat an ally you trust with American weapons and American lives.
The Jonathan Pollard case showed us decades ago what Israeli espionage against the U.S. looks like. We apparently learned nothing. Continuing to transfer weapons to a government actively working to undermine our decision-making process is a security risk, not a foreign policy. Suspend arms transfers to Israel until this threat is resolved and Congress gets a full briefing on the DIA's findings.
