I am writing to you in a state of absolute fury and grief. President Trump has bypassed Congress to launch a unilateral, illegal war that has already resulted in the slaughter of innocent children.
According to reports from UNICEF and the UN, at least 180 children have been killed in the first week of "Operation Epic Fury." The most sickening example is the missile strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab, which killed nearly 170 young girls aged 7 to 12 while they were in their classrooms. Images of blood-stained backpacks in the rubble are a stain on our national conscience.
This conflict has now dragged 17 countries into a regional firestorm. By ignoring the War Powers Clause and initiating a campaign of "death and destruction from the sky," this administration is committing what the UN warns are clear war crimes.
As my representative, I demand that you:
1. Impeach Immediately: The President has usurped congressional authority and led us into a humanitarian catastrophe. He must be removed from office and held accountable for these deaths.
2. Halt All Funding: Vote to immediately cease funding for Operation Epic Fury and invoke the War Powers Act to stop these unauthorized hostilities.
3. Independent Investigation: Demand an immediate, impartial investigation into the strike on the Minab school and all other civilian infrastructure.
If you do not act now to stop this slaughter and hold the President accountable for these war crimes, you are complicit in every child’s death that follows.
