I absolutely oppose any/all efforts to make voting more difficult for the citizens of Kansas. I am retired now but I clearly remember my working days when my schedule made it nearly impossible to vote on election day. We do NOT want to go backwards to that time. Keep early voting. Keep mail in ballot access. And keep the 3-day period for ballots to count after voting ends. Given the damage done to the postal service by the current postmaster general - it's extremely difficult to count on it to provide prompt service. This quote reflects my opinion. " "Proctor’s secret meeting shows how some politicians would rather disenfranchise voters than try to win their vote,” said Davis Hammet, president of Loud Light. “Politicians love to play games, but our ability to vote and have our vote counted, our democracy, cannot be treated like a game. Rep. Proctor’s comments are disturbing.”
