I strongly oppose the overly aggressive tactics of ICE around the country, but especially in Minnesota recently. Encouraging people who have broken civil law to follow our necessary rules does not require the levels of force and inhumanity against most illegal people, and especially should not be ever allowed against citizens or immigrants whose cases are actively being processed for asylum etc. As the MN Police Chief stated: this must stop. As my elected official, I expect action on your part regarding this matter. Whatever funding you can limit, or voice you can provide. More people are going to die if you and your colleagues do not act.
