I am writing to ask that you stay firm against the White House’s strong-arm demand that the SAVE act be passed before our common concerns are addressed. We do not need or want federal interference at the polls or stipulations against mail-in voting. Our election system is already strong. There is no evidence of a systemic problem with non-citizens voting. Safeguards are already in place. If the administration is worried our dissatisfaction with their policies, they should seriously address such things as affordable housing, groceries, and gas.
