Oppose transfer of Miami-Dade College land to Trump Library

OPPOSING transferring of land for Trump Library
Reportedly you are considering handing over land worth at least $67 million for Donald Trump’s foundation to build a presidential library and potentially other facilities such as a hotel — with little or no public input or scrutiny.
I am adding my voice of vehement opposition.
While it may be an honor to have a presidential library in a community, this plan and the way it is being handled is almost obscene.
This site (currently worth an estimated $200-300 million at least if developed) should be an investment in the educational and cultural mission of Miami-Dade College for the benefit of future students and other members of the broad community.
There are no publicly known safeguards to prevent private entities from personally capitalizing on the acquisition.
There is nothing in place to forestall corruption now or into the future.
Please remember the history of the Trump Foundation in New York, including findings of misuse of funds and self-dealing.
You are advised to STOP this maneuver and re-think the process. Do not sell out Mimi-Dade College’s legacy.
