An Open Letter
To: Gov. Mills
From: A verified voter in South Portland, ME
October 7
Dear Governor Mills,
I have so appreciated all of your years of service. Your thoughtful, well-reasoned perspectives and your genuine care for your constituents.
I am writing to try to better understand why you cannot endorse Troy Jackson for Senate. You have seen firsthand what the Trump administration and the Republicans in control of Congress have done to our country , and you’ve stood up to the administration to shout out loudly for what is right. In order to get our country back to a truly Democratic footing we need Republicans out of Congress. To do that we need Troi Jackson
Please, you carry a lot of influence in our state, and for very good reason. Your silence is deafening and swaying undecided voters to vote for Collins. Is he the perfect candidate for Maine? Probably not, but we NEED him to help take back the senate and our country.
Please, end your silence and endorse Troy Jackson.
