I'm writing in opposition to the Trump administration's deal to import Russian diesel. There are three concerns I have regarding this. First, I want you to demand the Trump administration follow the law banning Russian energy imports. The U.S. should not be funding Putin's war while Russia continues to kill Ukrainian civilians. Second, Representative Meeks on October 16th, proposed legislation to block Trumps deal, I want you to support this. Finally, Americans need fuel for their homes this winter, we should return to purchasing from our ally, Canada, as we have in the past. Congress needs to lift the tariffs on Canada so Americans can afford heating their homes this the winter. Thank you for your time and consideration.
