As a daughter who watched my mom suffer miserably her last few months last year while I felt hopelessness and guilt, I wish for future elderly suffering terminal illness to have their last days filled with dignity, respect, and to have an end in sight for their suffering and pain. Death with Dignity is poised to come to New York THIS YEAR if the State Senate acts by June 12. I urge you to vote YES on A136 – the Medical Aid in Dying Act.
