The “gift” of a temporary Air Force One from Qatar to the Trump Administration is such a bizarrely poorly masked violation of constitutional prohibitions against acceptance of anything of value from foreign sources that even hearing it floated as an idea, let alone an impending event, seems unimaginable. The Trump Administration efforts to wrap it in a cartoonish legal cover is insulting to the intelligence of most Americans. Congress must move immediately and forcefully to intervene and prevent such an egregious unconstitutionally abusive exploitation of power and influence.
