Since its founding in 1935, my family has paid literally hundreds of years' worth of contributions into the Social Security Administration, owing to our large family. I have been personally contributing since the age of 13 or 14, investing my money, time, and energy into Social Security. My family has relied on Social Security because we were not wealthy or gifted money from others; we have worked hard for what we have. Now, we must protect Social Security and Medicare from individuals like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who were not elected by us, the people. These individuals seem to be serving interests that do not align with the needs of ordinary Americans, potentially threatening the stability of these crucial programs. Social Security and Medicare are not just budget items; they are lifelines for millions. I urge you to oppose any efforts to cut funding or benefits for these programs.
