While you no doubt are ok in an air conditioned home and office, 2000 women are crammed into the jail in chowchilla and the CDCR can’t even give them sufficient water! You are the Governor and it is past time for you to step up and seriously address the deficiencies in the California prison system. You have the power to force the CDCR to attend to the needs of all the prisoners. The current situation is abominable. Prisoners need to be treated humanely and with dignity. What is happening is torture. You stand for abortion rights for women; how about getting serious about women prisoners rights.
