Demand Congressional Investigation into Trump's Epstein Connections

To: Rep. Davids, Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall

The Justice Department released 3 million pages of Jeffrey Epstein documents on Friday that mention President Trump more than 1,000 times. These files contain deeply disturbing allegations that demand immediate congressional investigation and accountability. The documents include FBI interview notes with an Epstein victim who described how Ghislaine Maxwell presented her to Trump at a New York party, telling her she was "available" and saying "Oh I think he likes you. Aren't you lucky. This is great." The files also contain an FBI form detailing a complaint from an anonymous woman who accused Trump of raping her when she was 13 years old, with allegations that mirror a 2016 lawsuit dropped before the election. Additionally, FBI notes from a 2021 interview with Virginia Giuffre detail how she was recruited from Trump's Mar-a-Lago club as a teenager to work for Epstein. Federal prosecutors collected evidence in 2020 proving Trump flew on Epstein's private plane multiple times in the 1990s, directly contradicting his 2024 statement that "I was never on Epstein's Plane." The Justice Department even subpoenaed Mar-a-Lago before Maxwell's criminal trial in 2021. Trump initially resisted releasing these files despite pledging to do so when he took office. He personally lobbied individual GOP members at the White House to stop the bipartisan bill forcing disclosure by mid-December. This resistance raises serious questions about what he sought to hide. While the Justice Department noted some claims may be unverified, the sheer volume of evidence, flight records, and victim testimony demands thorough investigation. No one, regardless of position, should be above accountability when credible allegations of this magnitude exist. I urge you to call for a full congressional investigation into Trump's relationship with Epstein and Maxwell, his documented flights on Epstein's plane, and the allegations contained in these FBI files. The American people deserve answers and justice for the victims who have come forward.
