We all agreed to the Constitution! ICE is not above the Constitution. In fact, each agent swears to uphold it, as a condition of federal employment. Reps must Educate the Public to make sure we all remember that an ICE internal policy can Never take away our 4th Amendment rights! ICE does not have the right to invade our homes without our consent. ICE must not violate the law by failing to produce a Judicial Warrant, signed by a judge, to request access to a home or employee-only space. ICE agents violate this constitutional right every day. However, we all must know and exercise our rights to hold ICE accountable. Knowing this, that they need a signed Judicial Warrant to enter a private space, helps us record video and write a Habeas corpus petition immediately aft er a detention. Without a Habeas defense, ICE transfers community members - Americans - to detention camps out of state. Each transfer separates us from our loved ones, lawyers, and organizations ready to help. Each transfer serves only to make money for Private Prison Owners and oligarchs willing to abuse our fundamental rights for a buck. No more! Use all resources available, and partner with / fund state and local organizations, to remind and educate everyone about this truth: We have Constitutional protection from unlawful Search and Seizure! We must overcome intentional disinformation campaigns, that ICE and the extremist executive branch are using to make people afraid to speak up. We must educate everyone: - Don't Open the Door. - Say, "I Exercise my Right to be Silent." - Then, Don't Open your Mouth. - Don't Sign Anything. - Recor d Video. - Contact our state's Rapid Response and Legal Aid network immediately. - Give Videos, Notes, and Testimony to the Rapid Response network and Im migration Lawyer immediately. - Contact Habeas Project immediately, to write your Habeas corpus petition within an hour of an incident. - Ensure everyone in your community has a completed Emergency Plan, locked up safe at home and at a friend's home. - Spread the word! Anything short of this is unacceptable. Thank you in advance for being more courageous than any human should have to be. Without your help, our detained community members will lose hope. Courage!
