I am a constituent in 85006. I'm watching disgusting and alarming video from a friend who lives in DC of the authoritarian president sending the National Guard into DC, and threatening to do the same in other Democrat-led cities. And it that's not enough, his use of armed Border Patrol agents to intimidate Governor Gavin Newsom at his press conference yesterday. This is unacceptable! It's madness. America is turning into a country I don’t even recognize, and I know my father, who landed on the beaches in Normany in WWII, and my grandfather, who was in the trenches in WWI, are turning in their graves. All of this can only end terribly for our country and the American people. Already tourism is drying up. Even before the fires on the North Rim of Grand Canyon, both North and South Rim lodges had rooms available for last minute bookings. Making reservations in any of the hotels last minute has never happened, at least not since I moved here in 1997. Our economy is in free fall. No one wants to come here an no one wants to invest in us. The current president's authoritarianism is terrible for business, terrible for our economy, and most of all terrible for us. Congress is supposed to be a check and balance on this madman. Take action. Do something.
