I'm calling to urge you to treat the AI crisis with real urgency instead of half-measures. I ask that you Support the Ban Artificial Superintelligence Act to pause advanced development until federal safety regulations are in place, Support H.R. 9917, the AI Kill Switch Act, to ensure that AI companies are able to reign in their own technology in an emergency, (and) Demand AI oversight that addresses data centers' land, water, and energy footprint, Push for a dedicated, bipartisan congressional committee on AI, regardless of which party controls the House, Demand transparency into the Trump administration's AI-related dealings with China, and Hold hearings on AI companies' own admissions that their systems have escaped intended safeguards.
