What we’ve experienced in the last two weeks feels like a coup. The unrelenting attacks on trans folks, those with physical & cognitive challenges, women, people of color, Jews & other religious groups are, quite frankly, terrifying. Then over the weekend we learned that Elon Musk sent people to seize information containing the private information of millions, maybe hundreds of millions, of citizens — and that there was no meaningful challenge to this breach. As I talk with my friends, many feel that the country is on the verge of chaos. In this crisis we need to see leadership from our representatives in Congress, on the floor of the House, and on the streets. Please communicate what you are doing to resist this unfolding disaster. Tell us what you need us to do to help. When there is nothing that you can do as a Representative tell us that to, and help us understand why your hands are tied — then tell us what we need to be doing to save the country.
