I am a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles. I am writing today to urge that you agitate to begin impeachment proceedings against Pete Hegseth. He has ordered our military to commit murder by ordering strikes on Venezuelan boats, including to kill survivors (some are calling them war crimes, but we aren't actually at war, so it's just murder). He is unfit for leadership and must be investigated and prosecuted for his unlawful actions. I work in the defense industry and I am horrified that the work I do is being used by the administration to commit atrocities. Also, I am asking that you stand up for Somali immigrants and Rep. Ilhan Omar, the subject of an attack by the president that the New York Times has called “shocking in its unapologetic bigotry.” I ask that you fight back against this vicious racism.
