I am passionately urging you to vote NO on H.R. 1526. This bill will strip judges of their power to stop unconstitutional laws. If H.R. 1526 passes, the courts will not be able to protect the American people from authoritarian abuse. The bill is a direct attack on the system of checks and balances that are fundamental to our government. The President is openly defying the orders of federal judges and of the United States Supreme Court. Executive Orders were never meant to be this rampant, and the consequences are disastrous and far-reaching. We the people desperately need you to do what is right. This is not about party lines or political alliances. You are sworn defenders of the Constitution, and now the Constitution is in crisis. You have the opportunity to be remembered as the Congress that chose country over chaos, democracy over dictatorship, and oath over office. Your country is scared but hopeful as we look to you, asking you to approach this vote with bravery and justice.
