Expel MTG and Censure Comer

To: Rep. Begich

From: A constituent in Two Rivers, AK

June 14

I am writing to you today with a profound sense of outrage and urgency demanding the urgent and decisive action in response to the June 13, 2025, House Oversight Committee hearing. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) publicly and falsely accused New York Governor Kathy Hochul of “murder” related to the death of Laken Riley. This reckless and baseless accusation constitutes an abuse of power and dangerous defamation that cannot be tolerated in Congress. Furthermore, Chairman James Comer (R-KY) compounded this by referring to migrants as “criminal illegals,” dehumanizing language that fuels hate and reflects a disturbing normalization of fascist rhetoric in our government. This is not simply political rhetoric—it is a threat to the integrity of our democratic institutions and the safety of vulnerable communities. I am demanding that you: • Support the immediate expulsion of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for knowingly making false criminal accusations and abusing her office; • Support the censure of Chairman James Comer for enabling and promoting racist, dehumanizing language during official proceedings; • Advocate for the adoption of House rules explicitly prohibiting hate speech, racial slurs, and unfounded criminal allegations during congressional hearings and debates. Congress must send a clear message: this behavior is unacceptable and will have consequences. Failure to act makes you complicit in the erosion of our democracy. I expect you to stand up for truth, justice, and human dignity — and I demand you act now.
