How dare you allow $6 million dollars of our tax money be paid to an El Salvador prison complex that some have compared a gulag or a concentration camp? My husband and I mailed a $3500 check to the IRS yesterday. Now that might seem like a drop in the bucket to someone like Elon Musk who is getting richer every day grifting the IS government, but to us $3500 is a lot of money. That money could have been used to help buy a used car for our daughter who is a graduating college. It makes me sick to think that my hard earned money is being used to torture innocent people in that El Salvador hell hole. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an innocent man and he and all of the other innocent victims need to be returned to the US. The US Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to do so. Congress can reign in this flagrant disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law and due process under the law. Congress is the body that would be responsible for paying the dictator Bukele with our tax money. Stop that payment! I thought DOGE and this Republican administration were all about saving money? How is this 6 million dollars doing that? It costs the federal government $2 million a year to fund Meals on Wheels. We could find that critical program for our seniors and shut ins for 3 years with the money sent to illegally send people to CETCO. And now the President is talking about sending US citizens without a trial to this place ( or 5 more just like it) in order to get rid of Americans who speak out against a “man” who wants to be just like his new friend Bukele or Putin. Please do your job and bring Mr. Garcia home. Check the President’s u lawful use of power. You need to stand in the right side of history. Thank you
