Ted issued this statement regarding the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse, a young thug who went looking to perpetuate violence: “…every American has the God-given right to self-defense and the protections of the Second Amendment.” If you believe that, why are you not incensed that a legally armed man who was NOT brandishing his weapon, unlike Rittenhouse, has been murdered? A legally armed man who worked at the VA! Why are you no longer talking about government overreach and tyranny? I know you have seen the video and I know your eyes work just fine. Do not perpetuate the lies DHS is telling. Fight for our first and second amendment rights! This has crossed so many lines, and you know it’s true. Do not vote for the appropriations bill that will continue to fund ICE without putting some guardrails on how it can be used. Require training and standards expected of every other branch of law enforcement and military. Please, DO SOMETHING. History is watching this moment.
