I am writing to urge you to support the immediate and complete release of all files related to Jeffrey Epstein that reference Donald Trump. As Senator Ruben Gallego noted this week when introducing legislation to block military action against Greenland, Trump's name appears throughout the Epstein files. The American people deserve full transparency about these documents, particularly given the current administration's increasingly erratic behavior on the world stage.
Trump recently stated that the United States needs Greenland for national security reasons and refused to rule out military force to acquire this Danish territory. White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller reinforced this position, questioning Denmark's sovereignty and calling Greenland a colony. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen warned that a U.S. attack on another NATO country would destroy the security alliance that has protected us since World War II. Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen stated his country of 30,000 people is not an object of superpower rhetoric.
This pattern of threatening military action against allies, combined with similar threats against Venezuela, suggests a dangerous pattern that demands accountability. The Epstein files may provide critical context for understanding Trump's decision-making and fitness for office. When families struggle with rising grocery and housing costs, the administration instead focuses on threatening wars and invading countries.
Full release of these documents would serve multiple purposes. It would provide transparency that Americans deserve regarding their president's past associations. It would create accountability for any illegal conduct revealed in those files. Most importantly, it would shift focus back to substantive issues of presidential fitness and conduct rather than allowing continued distraction through international provocations.
I urge you to demand complete release of all Epstein-related files naming Trump and to support any investigation or legal action warranted by their contents. The security of our NATO alliances and the credibility of American leadership depend on accountability at the highest levels.
