Democrats won big last night. Good. Now comes the real task ahead: holding the entirety of this corrupt and lawless administration accountable for their crimes. I’m cautiously optimistic you will be able to fix what was broken AND prosecute the perpetrators at the same time. But I haven’t forgotten what it feels like to wake up every day to bad news or fearful events brought about by members of the Trump administration. I do not want to watch the people responsible get rewarded. I’m not interested in another round of “we need to move on.” Subpoena the records. Put these people under oath. Follow the evidence all the way up. Impeach, convict, and remove cabinet officials who abused their power. Prosecute anyone who committed crimes. And when Republicans start screaming about a witch hunt, have the backbone to finish the job. Build the cases. Prove them. Pursue justice without apology. We did our part. You need to do yours!.
