Hmmm…
Does anyone find it strange that a mainstream media, who generally jumps on every prurient detail in politics, has developed a’silence is golden’ mood about the Epstein report released yesterday by the House Judiciary Committee?
There is no universe where this shouldn’t be on blast with them all.
Speculation and conspiracy is the national pastime. So why the hesitancy this time?
Is it too prurient? It certainly is. Is it too brutal? Ditto. Is it too creepy? Oh yes. Or do they just lack the intestinal fortitude to give victims of sexual abuse a platform to help expose their predators?
The DOJ is complicit. The GOP Congress is MIA. The Trump administration is part of the problem. And now the media has decided to sit it out for now.
I expect they’re each waiting for the other to take the leap first. Or their corporate overlords have decided this particular topic and who it might involve is just a bridge too far.
No matter. These days there are more ways to disseminate info than there are angels in heaven.
This is a taste of what is being ignored…
“Later that day, Donald Trump’s representative invited [Beatrice] Keul to go upstairs at the Plaza Hotel to meet with Trump. Believing this meeting to be a lucky break for the purpose of furthering her career and education, Keul accompanied Trump’s representative upstairs. He ushered her into the suite, where upon entering, Trump reportedly grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly raped her; in the process, tearing her dress and causing bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body. Keul described the rape as ‘brutal.’
Following the assault, according to Keul’s report, Trump sat her on the edge of the bed, repeated his promises to arrange for a visa and NYU admission, and made her promise she would keep quiet, saying, ‘[T]he show must go on.’””
Anybody besides the Dems going to stand up for these women?
