We are not a nation that believes in harming children. We want children to thrive, be safe, learn and grow up into kind neighbors. The kids in Dilley and their families have no criminal records and yet they are being denied their basic human rights. There is not amount of detention that’s safe for children. Plus it costs taxpayers a lot of money to cause this suffering. Let’s put our money and our actions behind the belief that children in the us deserve human rights. Close Dilley now. It is the moral thing to do. And the fiscally responsible thing to do.
