On that day over 90% of NIOSH employees were notified they are being laid off by June. This includes over 400 employees based in Cincinnati. The work at NIOSH translates into enhanced productivity while reducing healthcare costs associated with occupational hazards. NIOSH is NOT partisan or political. NIOSH conducts research to prevent worker injuries, diseases, and deaths. Please advocate for reversing these reckless layoffs and providing sustained funding and resources for NIOSH.
