I write in disbelief and dismay over the reconciliation bill — the so-called “big beautiful bill.” Selling off our public lands and national parks is a betrayal of every American who values our shared natural heritage. These lands are not yours to liquidate for short-term budget optics. Once sold, they are gone forever. This is fiscal recklessness disguised as savings, environmental vandalism dressed as reform, and a blatant handout to special interests. What on Earth do you think you are doing? Have you forgotten who you represent? Please reject this bill — and stop auctioning off the soul of this country.
