Fascism and hate have no place in state government—or anywhere in America.
When legislators tolerate racism, antisemitism, or calls to violence, they betray their oath to serve the people and protect democracy. These acts are not “jokes,” “private messages,” or “just politics.” They are the language and tactics of oppression, and they must be condemned without hesitation.
Too many officials remain silent while extremist rhetoric spreads in our communities and online spaces. That silence is dangerous. It normalizes cruelty, invites violence, and erodes public trust in the institutions meant to protect us all.
State leaders must take immediate action to denounce fascism, remove anyone who promotes hate or violence from positions of power, and pass strong ethical and civil rights protections.
You were elected to represent the people—not to serve ideology, fear, or hate. The measure of leadership is moral courage. It’s time to show it.
