The paint job on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that was done with a no-bid crony contract was clearly completely botched, wasting millions of taxpayer dollars. The war in Iran has cost multiple billions in military spending, and billions more in the pockets of citizens dealing with increased costs from the closing of the Strait of Hormuz. Where is your support for cutting down on wasteful spending that was so ardent last year, when DOGE was eliminating funding for things like cancer research, disease tracking, and the prevention of screwworm infestation? Your hypocrisy is blatant, embarrassing, and terrible for your constituents and the country at large. Do better. Do your job.
