Representative Carter, As a resident of Bryan County, I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed Westwin nickel refinery in Richmond Hill, Bryan County, GA. Our community does not want this facility. We are deeply concerned about the potential emission of carcinogens and the environmental impact this refinery would have. Such pollution threatens to poison our residents, land, waterways, and local wildlife. I urge you to help us reject Westwin’s applications in process in order to protect our environment and the health of our community.
