The Democrats may have caved to the very real scare tactics pushed by the Administration, but make no mistake. We all understand this was a Republican shutdown, with Republicans happily starving children to pressure Democrats to stop their demand that cuts to healthcare be restored. All in the name of making their corporate donors even more obscenely wealthy. Shameful all the way around.
