The last government shutdown ended without democrats gaining anything. Now, the very thing that democrats were trying to prevent has finally occurred: some people's medical bills went up. Yet, what are most people upset about right now? The authoritarian tactics of the Trump administration's secret police force: ICE. Trump is sending his agents into cities to intimidate and terrorize people. They aren't just deporting immigrants and detaining peaceful protesters-- US citizens, bystanders and passersby are getting detained, injured, or worse by ICE's inhumane and illegal tactics. So what are democratic leaders doing in response? Preparing to fund ICE, again. Please show the country that you do not support Trump's secret police by voting No on any spending bills that include funding for ICE.
