Subject: Please Oppose Public Land Sell-Offs in the “Big Beautiful Bill”
Dear Senator [Last Name],
I’m writing as a deeply concerned constituent who cherishes our nation’s public lands. These forests, trails, and open spaces are more than just land—they’re part of our heritage, our identity, and our shared future.
The provision in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” to sell off millions of acres of public land is deeply troubling. These lands belong to all of us—not just to the highest bidder. They provide vital wildlife habitat, clean water, recreation opportunities, and a connection to nature that cannot be replaced.
As someone who has spent countless hours hiking, camping, and exploring these places, I urge you: please vote NO on any bill that includes public land sell-offs. At the very least, demand that these provisions be removed before moving forward.
We owe it to future generations to protect our public lands, not auction them off.
