Yesterday was a day of infamy. The U.S. sided with Russia (and Belarus and North Korea) in U.N. Resolutions marking the 3rd anniversary of Russia’s hostile invasion of Ukraine. We have betrayed our allies, betrayed NATO, abandoned Ukraine, and the foreign policy of Trump and Vance and Rubio embraces former foes and Nazis. Please put forward and pass House and Senate resolutions to declare our support for Ukraine. Please publicly speak against Trump's lies about Ukraine. As a member of Congress, you have a voice and platform. Be inspired by some words from Zelensky: "I do not want my picture in your offices. The president is not an idol, an icon, or a portrait. Hang your kids’ photos instead and look at them each time you are making a decision." You will be accountable as a steward and protector of our democracy, world peace, our health, our rights, even our lives. I demand that you speak up in support of Ukraine so that the US does not become a member of the Axis powers. Trump and Musk have ruined the US’s position as world peace keeper. We are now friends with those on the side of evil, power and greed. STAND UP. SPEAK UP NOW.
