You were elected to be a co-equal branch of government, serving as a check and balance on the executive and judicial branches when they veer from constitutional bounds. Upholding the Constitution is not a matter to be left solely to the courts - it is your solemn duty. I urge you to support efforts to restore the constitutional separation of powers and rein in executive overreach through legislation like the Article One Restoration Resolution and the Defending Freedom Act. Our republic's endurance depends on adherence to our founding principles. The Constitution must be defended and its constraints on federal power respected.
