I am strongly opposed to the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act". Please vote AGAINST it. I know you always do what President Trump tells you to do, but I am begging you to vote FOR YOUR CONSTITUENTS this time. This bill will take away Medicaid from people who can not get their own insurance. It will force nursing homes and hospitals to close in rural areas where we already have too few hospitals and nursing homes. (I am speaking about my town of Lake Placid, which recently lost our emergency room because Adirondack Health couldn't afford to keep it open, but I know there are many other in NY21 that will be negatively affected.) I already have to drive 2+ hours to Burlington for specialized healthcare appointments because of a shortage of doctors in the Adirondacks. This bill will make more doctors and healthcare facilities unable to stay here. PLEASE VOTE NO! Thank you.
