Stop the automatic draft. There is no reason for this to be commonplace. We absolutely cannot normalize this. The only thing affecting military enlistment is Trump and his brazen misuse of ICE and the Guard. Even with a draft, people will never fight for a war they do not believe in and do not support. People also don’t want to be used to police citizens or intimidate communities. Unlike all of you, we cannot turn a blind eye to murder and be complicit in Trumpstein’s crimes. Stop the war and stop the automatic draft register immediately. Both accomplish nothing but further stroke Trump’s ego, allow him to flout our constitutions and laws with unchecked power. Do your job, show us America has a future, and then people will once again have the urge to help protect it. Make America worth fighting for again. Make the military worth more than a felon Cheeto’s goons. Encourage patriotism, not forced human shields.
