Hello, I’m writing from Western Pennsylvania, and I want to urge Representative Deluzio to oppose all efforts to take federal funding away from public radio stations like WESA in Pittsburgh. I believe efforts to stop funding public media are wrong, and I’m asking him to oppose any efforts to cut off funding, or to reclaim money that has already been approved by Congress for public radio. Public media gets only a very tiny piece of the federal government’s annual spending, and I believe it is an investment that’s essential to all of Western Pennsylvania. Would you please share my concerns with Chris Deluzio and, as my representative in Washington, ask them to oppose any attempt to take funding away from public radio?
