I’m writing as a constituent, a mom, and someone who cares deeply about the kind of example our leaders set for our kids and our country.
I’ll be honest, watching Donald Trump lately has left me feeling disgusted. It’s not about one moment or one clip, but a pattern that raises real concerns for me about judgment, stability, and whether he’s able to handle the responsibilities of the office in a steady, responsible way.
I know impeachment is a serious step, and I don’t take that lightly. But the standard in Article II, Section 4 exists for a reason. It’s time to exercise this option.
This isn’t about party lines for me. It’s about wanting leaders who act with integrity, self-control, and respect for the role they’ve been given. As a parent, I think a lot about what we’re modeling for the next generation, and right now, it’s time to act. This administration is dangerous.
I’m asking you to please take your oversight role seriously. Ask the hard questions, support appropriate investigations, and put the country ahead of politics.
