congress I’m writing as a concerned constituent from [YOUR CITY/STATE] to urge immediate action regarding Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. His leadership is putting millions of Americans at risk — especially people who can become pregnant — by weaponizing pseudoscience and dismantling evidence-based health policy.
Just this past week:
• RFK Jr. launched an FDA review of mifepristone, the abortion pill used in two-thirds of U.S. abortions, threatening access even in states where abortion remains legal.
• He rejected a U.N. agreement on chronic disease prevention — cancer, diabetes, mental health — undermining years of global collaboration.
• He and President Trump promoted a debunked link between Tylenol and autism, and pushed an unproven “treatment” with leucovorin.
• He appointed anti-vaccine activist Mark Blaxill to the CDC, continuing a pattern of replacing medical experts with conspiracy theorists.
These moves are not isolated. They are part of a dangerous pattern of overriding science in favor of ideology. Former CDC directors published an open letter warning that RFK Jr. is “endangering every American’s health.” Representative Haley Stevens is now formally drafting articles of impeachment, citing his contempt for science and chaotic leadership.
The mifepristone review alone could create a de facto national abortion ban, enacted through regulatory backdoors instead of public debate. This is a full-scale assault on reproductive rights, medical autonomy, and institutional trust.
I urge you to:
• Publicly oppose RFK Jr. and demand accountability
• Support the impeachment process if pursued
• Protect abortion access, vaccine confidence, and science-based policy
This is no longer business as usual. We need you to fight for public health — and for truth.
