HOWDY ya’ll
Dear Congress me and Meta got the best idea for our country; we
call it the
Devine
Intergenerational transparent 24hr Child Care Act.
The purpose is to create affordable, overnight-capable daycare hubs using underused veteran halls like the Legion and VFW, run jointly by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Interior..
Here’s how it works. The VA handles the veteran side, Interior covers the state side, and Education sets the child development standards. Mothers dealing with empty nest syndrome can apply through the site, USA.gov ,get background checked, and be hired as caregivers alongside retired veterans. That gives you double coverage and real intergenerational care.
Facilities would be the local Legion halls and similar spaces. They’d be equipped with donated fridges, microwaves, tablets, and TVs from companies like GE and Samsung, plus clean toys from Goodwill and the community. Children bring their own sleeping bags /mats stored in cubbies during the day and rolled out at night for overnight care for parents who work nights. School buses would pick up in the morning and drop off at school.
Food and safety would follow existing school lunch donation channels and federal licensing rules.
The state and federal agencies would handle all the licensing, background checks, liability, and food safety so it’s legit and safe. The big wins are safety security’s ,cost, connection, we’re using existing buildings and donations. Veterans get purpose, moms get work and community, kids get multiple trusted caregivers and a home-like environment. it fills the gap for night-shift parents.
That’s the full blueprint me and Meta Ai built together.
