Why is ICE still operating in our state? Just over the last week, dozens of our neighbors have been abducted and flown out of state, in violation of multiple laws and court orders, while local officials and police continue to do NOTHING. I am as furious with local leadership now as I was in early January, and in some respects the anger has intensified as the false promise of a cessation of Operation Metro Surge goes unchallenged. We need ACTION and we need ACCOUNTABILITY. Our neighbors are still suffering under this occupation, even if the total number of DHS agents has been reduced. One illegal abduction is one too many. Where is justice for Renee or Alex? Where is the investigation into the federal obstruction of justice?
