Today I am contacting you to ask that you push to defund ICE by opposing any appropriations bill that maintains ICE funding. I am also asking you to support any legislation that claws back the $75 million ICE slush fund created by HR 1 last year. This lawless agency has been violently attacking and killing both immigrants and US citizens around the country and must be defunded and dissolved for good. People are being assaulted in our streets, and they are being kidnapped and murdered before our very eyes. Our friends and neighbors are being violently attacked for merely observing what this terroristic organization is doing. Not only is it an absolute violation of our constitutional rights, but it is completely evil. I encourage Congress to use its power, authority, and discretion to defund and disband ICE. Immediately.
