I am extremely disappointed with your decision to vote for bill HR 5009, which included an amendment to deny healthcare to transgender children of service members. This spits in the face of those who serve our country. They know their children best and if they determine their child would benefit from a certain type of care, it is not for the government to pick and choose what is acceptable. As of now, you will not get my vote in the next primary election, or general election if you receive the nomination. You have your upcoming senate term to make better decisions and earn it back. The transgender community and allies will be watching closely. Please choose to stand with us in this pivotal political moment, and history will look kindly on you.
