Please Step Down and Allow 2 Months of the First Female President
To: Pres. Biden
From: A constituent in Centennial, CO
November 8
Dear President Biden,
Please consider resigning early from your Presidency, allowing Vice President Harris to assume the role of President for the remaining two months of the term. The United States needs to break the barrier holding us back from our first woman President. Former President Gerald Ford predicted that the United States would finally get a woman President by first being elected Vice President, and then filling a vacant Presidency. You have the power and courage to ensure this historic moment happens.
Handing over the Presidency to Vice President Harris is not about circumventing the results of the recent election; it’s about making the most impact in the remaining two months of this term’s legacy. You both were elected to lead our country in 2020. Please consider giving Vice President Harris the opportunity to lead us for this remaining time, ensuring her title of Madam President going forward, and sending the message to women and little girls everywhere that the office of President is for everyone. This will be the morale boost we need in this country transitioning into the uncertain future of the next four years.
Thank you for your service as our President, and the courage you have already shown in stepping down from the election. You’re a good President, and you have the potential to leave a lasting legacy with one final action in office.
