Please decline Mr Hegseth’s nomination. Although he is a man of fluctuating morals and alcohol abuse, he is also abundantly unprepared nor possessing the experience to manage or dare I say, lead the DoD. A family member was connected to the Joint Chiefs in the 60s bringing to the table his experience with a key role at the Bikini tests, commanding an aircraft carrier, designing the Cuban blockade and with NATO Supreme Allied Command to name a few of his experiences post WWll. Your current candidate’s most recent experience was on an entertainment news show. He has no idea how to run our military bringing only his prejudices and preconceived notions to the table. For the sake of our country please decline him entirely.
