This isn't abstract. Diesel is at $6.45 per gallon — a record high — which means everything costs more to make and ship. Local governments have shelled out over $2.7 billion extra for fuel, a bill that lands on taxpayers. Meanwhile, the economy added just 29,000 jobs in September and real wages are falling. People are drowning, and this war is holding their heads under. Demand an end to it.
